I recently graduated from Stony Brook University with a degree in mathematics. I did research with CATNIP Lab centered around machine learning and data visualization. I will be completing my Masters and PhD in computer science at IGI TU Graz under the supervision of Wolfgang Maass.
I also enjoy digital art, science fiction, and philosophy. My favorite philosopher is Donna Haraway; I highly recommend The Companion Species Manifesto to anyone.
During the summer of 2020, I was working with Il Memming Park towards an understanding of how recurrent neural networks can predict and synthesize music. The repository, which can be used to quickly train models and generate new music, can be found here. In the upcoming months, I will be working with my new lab on surrogate-gradient-based learning algorithms for spiking neural networks.
